The two lifts deliver clients to the highest point in St Maarten for sight seeing.
Thanks for the article and pictures. Sorry to see that your boat was destroyed, but glad that everyone is safe. Just got back from a sailing trip around St Maartin and the carnage 4 months after Irma was unbelievable. The boat we were on is similar to the boat at the end of your article (Lagoon 440) leaning against the condo. The boat weighs 27,000 lbs. It was only one of two boats still floating in Simpson Bay. They were able to install a new mast and fix the other damage so that we could go sailing.

I will stop and take a lift ride next time i am in St. Maartin. Really like the new evacuation method.

Great article John!
I am honored to have had the ability to come and help you guys rebuild after Irma. From my time there working with you it is clear that it was not a "piece of luck" that got you through that devastation. It was the hard work of every person I met while being there (and certainly more people I didn't get to meet). I will forever be inspired by you and your team for their ability to come together during such a crisis. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your efforts, it was an experience that I will never forget. Congratulation to you and everyone involved for getting through it!
